Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2026 ยท This is a starting template, not legal advice โ€” have a lawyer review it for your jurisdiction before relying on it.

1. What we collect

Creators: name, email, phone number, age, and any photo, bio, location, or height you choose to add. Viewers: a name and, only if you contact a creator without an account, your email โ€” a first message no longer asks for your email at all. All users: messages you send on the platform, and technical data like your IP address and a session cookie, used only for account login and abuse prevention (rate-limiting).

2. What we don't do

We don't sell your personal data to third parties. Your phone number and email are never shown on your public profile. Passwords are never stored in plain text โ€” only a salted cryptographic hash.

3. How we use your data

To operate the service (showing profiles, delivering messages), to keep the platform safe (reviewing reports, enforcing blocks, rate-limiting abusive traffic), and to respond to support requests.

4. Where it's stored

Data is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure (D1 database and R2 object storage for photos).

5. Cookies

Purple uses one session cookie to keep you logged in. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies at this time.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your data at any time through the support page. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law.

7. Children's privacy

Purple is not directed at anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under that age.

8. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time; the "last updated" date above will reflect the latest revision.

9. Contact
